The Freedom Self-Love Skin Diaries is a four-week skincare experience from Freedom Self-Love, a South African natural skincare brand inspired by the personal journey of living with skin concerns.

We’re inviting people to apply to try our Freedom Dermal Balsam, share their honest skincare experiences, and explore a more compassionate relationship with their skin.

Whether you’re navigating dry, sensitive or eczema-prone skin, your story matters. Selected participants will receive a Freedom Dermal Balsam and be invited to provide feedback throughout the four weeks. Photographs and social media sharing are entirely optional.

Because your skin is part of your healing story. It doesn’t define you. 

Terms & Conditions: The Freedom Self-Love Skin Diaries

1. Introduction
Welcome to The Freedom Self-Love Skin Diaries, a four-week skincare experience presented by Freedom Self-Love (“the Brand”). By submitting an application to participate in this campaign, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. 2. Eligibility

  • Participation is open to residents of South Africa aged 18 years or older.
  • Applicants must have a valid South African physical delivery address.

3. Application & Selection

  • Application does not guarantee selection.
  • Participants will be selected at the sole discretion of Freedom Self-Love based on suitability for the product trial.
  • Selected participants will receive one (1) unit of Freedom Dermal Balsam delivered to their provided physical address free of charge.

4. Campaign Overview & Participant Expectations

  • The campaign runs for four (4) consecutive weeks from the date of product delivery.
  • Selected participants will be invited to share their honest feedback and skincare experience via periodic surveys or check-in forms provided by the Brand.
  • Optional Content Sharing: Submitting photographs (e.g., before/after skin progress) or posting on social media is entirely optional. If you choose to share photographs or social media posts with us:
    You retain ownership of your content.
    You grant Freedom Self-Love a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to re-share, publish, or use your submitted photos/reviews across Freedom Self-Love marketing channels (website, email, social media), unless requested otherwise in writing.

5. Product Disclaimer & Safety

  • Freedom Dermal Balsam is a natural skincare product designed for cosmetic and moisturizing purposes. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition or disease.
  • If you have active dermatological conditions, open wounds, or known allergies, please review the ingredient list carefully and perform a patch test prior to full application.
  • Discontinue use immediately if irritation occurs and consult a medical professional if necessary.

6. General

  • Freedom Self-Love reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the campaign or these terms at any time if deemed necessary.

When you apply for The Freedom Self-Love Skin Diaries, we collect the following Personal Information:

  • Contact & Identification Data: Name, email address, phone number, and physical delivery address.
  • Skin Profile & Personal Story: Information regarding your skin type, skin concerns, and personal skincare journey shared in the application and check-in forms.
  • Optional Media: Any voluntary photographs, video testimonials, or social media handles you choose to submit.

2. Purpose of Collection & Processing

Your personal information will be processed solely for the following purposes:

  • Evaluating applications and selecting campaign participants.
  • Delivering the Freedom Dermal Balsam package to selected participants.
  • Communicating campaign updates, feedback forms, and support during the 4-week trial.
  • (Optional) Displaying user reviews or progress photos on our marketing channels where explicit consent or voluntary submission has been provided.

3. Data Protection & Third Parties

  • Your data will be kept strictly confidential and securely stored.
  • We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
