Whether it is the specific density of Shea butter to protect the skin barrier or the anti-inflammatory properties of Turmeric, every choice is made because it serves a physical purpose. If an ingredient doesn’t improve the integrity of your skin, it doesn’t make it into the jar.

I often get asked if we are a strictly plant-based brand. The answer is nuanced: we are 100% natural, but we don't limit ourselves to plants alone.

Take our balms, for example. I choose beeswax not because it’s a trend, but because it provides an occlusive, breathable layer that plant waxes simply cannot replicate. It’s about efficacy. If an ingredient is raw, pure, and works in harmony with the human body, I will use it. I don’t believe in excluding powerful, natural protectors just to satisfy a marketing category.

One of the most common questions I get is, "Why this oil in this specific amount?"

Skincare, to me, is an exact science. I spend months experimenting with botanical ratios—calculating the exact synergy between Rose Damascena oil and our carrier bases. It isn't just about mixing ingredients; it’s about stability, absorption rate, and how the product feels the moment it touches your skin. It’s the difference between a product that sits on the surface and one that actually hydrates.
